In the forest, one of the strongest trees is the beech tree. In our garden, the weeping copper beech can be found hovering over the garden in all of its majesty. This tall, slender beauty is symbolic of the strength that we can have in Christ. David wrote in Psalm 28:8 that "the Lord is the strength of his people."
This tree is not just tall and strong, it is also weeping. Humility and grace clothe this purple clad tree. Gently, the branches bend to the ground. The weeping copper beech illustrates how, through humbleness and brokenness, we can attain the strength that we can have in Christ.
